AccentHansen scoops RoSPA Gold Award

A trio of HansenGroup’s finest, AccentHansen, FendorHansen and MagHansen, scooped Gold in this year’s RoSPA* Occupational Health and Safety Awards. Indeed, FendorHansen were winners for the second successive year.

The awards were presented by Lord Jordan of Bourneville, at a special ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, National Exhibition Centre on Wednesday 18th May 2005, during Health and Safety Expo 2005.

Accompanying Hansen at the awards dinner were members of Laing O’Rourke’s management team from the new Business School at Aston University, where MagHansen are installing a £1 million package, containing 1100 m² of Hansen CellGlazing™ and Thermestra™.

Joe O’Regan, Contracts Manager, MagHansen was delighted with the award and said, “It’s a fantastic achievement for MagHansen and AccentHansen to win a Gold Award at our first attempt, and great for FendorHansen to win again. It is also a fitting tribute to the hard work of the site managers and health and safety team. I think it is great that we can combine safety and business at an impressive and entertaining event.”
