Meet the Team

The AccentHansen team are experts in their field with over 40 years experience in the steel and glass door industry:

Mark Mallen - Managing Director

Mark has been the Managing Director at AccentHansen since February 2007, and has been with HansenGroup for seven years. Responsible for sales and installation, his previous role was Group Health and Safety Manager, and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, as well as being an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.

Since taking up his role as MD for AccentHansen, he has also recently been appointed the Director of Health, Safety and Environment for Hansen in the UK.

Before joining Hansen in 2001, Mark worked for Hansen Quarry Products Europe as the Health and Safety Manager in their waste management division.

Previously he worked for Tarmac Quarry Products, where he occupied a number of operational management roles.

Mike McGlone - Finance Manager

Mike is a Chartered Management Accountant who has worked at AccentHansen for 18 months. Before that time he spent 12 years with a family investment firm. He has been involved mainly in the retailing sector for most of his working life with private and public companies, becoming Finance Director of Motor World Group, one of the most successful stock market flotations of the 1990’s, after being involved in its management buyout five years earlier.

Dave Cawley - Estimating & Approvals Manager

Dave is the Estimating & Approvals Manager at AccentHansen having rejoined the company in August 2007. His role is to oversee contracts from the estimating stage to the approved stage prior to production.

He has worked in the steel door, curtain wall and aluminium conservatory industry for over 20 years, mainly concentrating on steel doors, working with a mixed range of products and as part of technical and development teams.

Allin Buckley - Technical Manager

Allin has a long association with AccentHansen and started work as an apprentice fabrication fitter in 1968.  He was involved in the design and development of the first flush steel doors manufactured by Accent Doors in 1989. He moved to the position of hardware technician in 1990 and then on to project draughtsman in 1992.  In 2007 he was promoted to Production and Technical Manager and in 2009 became the Technical Manager, focused soley on technical requirements as required by the growth of the business.

Dave Mitchell - Production Manager

Dave has worked within the Hansen Group since 1995, from his start on the fabrication benches at Fendor Hansen he moved into a management role in 2000 as their Production Manager. He continued in this role through the management buyout at the end of 2006 and was promoted to the role of Production Director for Fendor Ltd in 2007.

Having joined AccentHansen in March 2009, Dave is now responsible for the Production department within the company. With over 18 years experience within the doors and windows, fire and security markets, he is a welcome addition to the team.

Claire Ginn - Marketing Manager

Claire started working with AccentHansen in April 2008. With over 10 years experience in various marketing roles, she has spent the majority of her career within the IT industry working for a number of large high profile IT security companies. Using this experience Claire is focussed on supporting the continued growth of AccentHansen through ongoing communications strategies.

Jonathan Williams - Health & Safety

Jonathan joined us in August of this year to support us in managing health & safety both at our manufacturing plant and on site. Jonathan is a Chartered Safety Practitioner and has a wealth of experience spanning more than 10 years. Jonathan began his health & safety career with Hanson PLC and spent more that 8 years with RBS Mentor Services as a Senior Consultant.
